day tripping

today we on an optional trip to flimwell open air museum and a walk through the local woods, these trips are said to be optional but on each and every trip something new is taught which i think is not fair to the people who dont attend because they miss out on teaching. the missed lesson is the worse part of an absense though, its the mocking and the bullying that follows after that makes everything so much worse ofcourse this is done by the so called teacher. the weather today is freezing cold and actually snowing so probably not the best weather for an open air museum, im just hoping it'll be worth it. i'll post later with some photos and possibly some more writting.

journal pages so far

here are the journal pages that i've made so far...

intro- trying to keep it simple

I started my part 1 architecture degree in September this year, so technically I'm still a fresher and new to the whole world of architecture, as part of my course I have to record processes that I encounter including what we do on the course and everything else so I've decided to do what I do best - write about it, every aspect of it and to do so in an organised manner I'm going to keep this blog it so I can keep track of the time scale and I can also blog using my kindle, so posts on the go. Initially I thought of blogging my journal but then i thought i could just write it in a paper journal and sort of sketch book 'the journal' but apparently you can't do that for the entire journal, you can sketchbook parts of it and even then it has to be very neat which in my opinion defeats the point of the sketchbook because it will strip away any soul that the spontaneity would bring on - so for that reason my journal is going to be designed on a computer then printed out.  I realise that I should of started blogging my journal back in september so i'll make posts on the things that have already happened in an attempt to keep this blog up to date. Along with writing i'm also going to post photos and scans of the work to make this blog as close to a journal page as possible.
